WILL GIVE MEDAL! What are the solutions to the system? y= x^2+5x-9 y= 2x +1

    use substitution method the SECOND equation shows you a way to write y so put THAT form of y in the FIRST equation which gives you an equation with only x as an unknown so you can solve it

    lets do that y=y \[x^2+5x-9=2x-1\] and solve this quadratic equation
