HELP ME PLZ Reina and Sam are multiplying (84)5 (73)9. Reina's Work:(84)5 (73)9 = 84 + 573 + 9 = 89712 Sam's Work:(84)5 (73)9 = 84⋅573⋅9 = 820727 Is either of them correct?

    Reina's work: (84)5 (73)9 = 84 + 573 + 9 = 89712 Mistake #1: 5(73) = 5 x 73 and is not equal to 573 Mistake #2: (84)5 (73)9 = 84 x 5 x 73 x 9. Each number has to be multiplied and not added. Mistake #3: 84 + 573 + 9 is not equal to 89712 Sam's work: (84)5 (73)9 = 84⋅573⋅9 = 820727 Mistake #1: 5(73) = 5 x 73 and is not equal to 573 Mistake #2: 84⋅573⋅9 is not equal to 89712 Both are wrong

    It's not a bug... You can tag as many people you like, but it is not allowed. How many people can help on one post anyways without confusing the asker? Also, there are a lot more questions that can be answered...
