The quote below was taken from a speech given on August 29, 1945, to engineers on the Manhattan Project by the military commander in charge of the project: "The only thing that we have to think about is that the war is over and that a great many of [sic] Americans are going to be safe and in good hands who wouldn't have been if it hadn't been for the Manhattan District " --General Leslie Grove Why would Grove have told the engineers "the only thing we have to think about is that the war is over"?

Why would Grove have told the engineers "the only thing we have to think about is that the war is over"? The decision to use atomic weapons was opposed by some who felt it was immoral. The decision to use atomic weapons was not supported by most Americans The decision to use atomic weapons prolonged the war against Japan. The decision to used atomic weapons allowed German scientists to develop similar weapons. @Surana and @sarimari

The text below was written after World War II: The wrongs which we seek to condemn and punish have been so calculated, so malignant and so devastating, that civilization cannot tolerate their being ignored because it cannot survive their being repeated... . It is hard now to perceive in these miserable men as captives the power by which as Nazi leaders they once dominated much of the world and terrified most of it. Merely as individuals, their fate is of little consequence to the world. The excerpt above is taken from which of the following? Atlantic Charter Yalta Conference Nuremberg Trials Potsdam Conference

I was just joking regarding the medals. As long as I help someone I'm fine with whatever happens. That "The Immortal One" title does seem pretty nice to have though...

It was to remove the allies from Berlin. Berlin as you should know was located within the heart of Soviet controlled territory, what would later be East Germany. A part of the post-war settlement was to divide up Berlin between the allies despite the fact that it was in the Soviet ZOC.
