Which was the significance of charters in the High Middle Ages? Charters regulated production and sale of goods within certain jurisdictions. Charters promoted chivalric codes of behavior through love songs and poems. Charters exempted prosperous towns from political regulation by local nobles. Charters educated wealthy merchant sons to staff new civil bureaucracies. Any help would be great!!!!
