    interesting question what do you think? imagine the individual is you not having which characteristic would be fine with you in terms of survival?

    I'd say reproduction, because you don't necessarily need to reproduce in order for an individual to survive. However, homeostasis, response, and metabolism are necessary for any organism's survival. For example, humans don't need to have children for their own survival.

    Reproduction since it is for the survival of an idividual not a species.
