Write the ratio in three different formats The team spent 20 minutes passing drills and spent 40 minutes shooting drills. Write the ratio of time spent on shooting drills to time passing drills A. 1 to 3, 1:3, 1/3 B. 1 to 2, 1:2, 1/2 C. 2 to 1, 2:1, 1/2 D. 3 to 1, 3:1, 3/1 -will give best response a medal ..please give best answer possible!

    Well keep in mind that \[\large \frac{x}{y}~=~x~to~y\] and you're looking for \[\large (time~spent~on~shooting~drills)~~to~~(time~spent~on~passing~drills)\]

    ok thanks but this is my first time actually to work on ratios so I dont understand much can u explain a little more about ratios

    It's really just a comparison of how much each has. If we're comparing 40 and 20, we'd write it and then simplify it.
