    OMGZ I CAN'T BELIEVE I MISSED THIS!!!!!!!!!!! It can't be B because that only has two terms *facepalm* x^(4-7) only counts as one!!!

    Yes. x + 4y + 7 has 3 terms: x, 4y, and 7, making it a trinomial. x^(4-7) + 3 is the same as (x^-3) + 3, which is not a polynomial
