Why was the Great Migration such an important part of the Progressive Era?
It showed the shift from an agricultural based-economy into an industrial- based economy.
It showed the shift of political tolerance of African Americans.
It showed that all African Americans preferred to live in the South.
It showed that the North and South had equal opportunities for African Americans.
It showed that African Americans finally had equal rights with whites.
