    Alcohol was illegal but they still managed to get alcohol just like moonshine its illegal to make and sell but we still do it

    and Bootlegging became more popular... Prohibition made drinking illegal.. therefor it was a crime to drink and yet people did it anyways

    Crime is anything against the law.. Bootlegging is the illegal operation of a speeder on a railway. Smuggling, the clandestine transportation of goods or persons.
