The answer would be D. This is because if you use the vertical line test (a vertical line going through the given lines) you see that D would only have 1 x value with 1 y value, making it a function.

- anonymous

Thank u and are u sure because this is really important

- anonymous

@mathmath333 is D the answer

@nikvist @mathmath333 @lehmad can u pls help

- anonymous

Right off the bat we can tell that the second option you posted is a function because the vertical line test is giving us 1 x value every 1 y value.

- anonymous

so That would be one of the answers would D be the other option @mathmath333 @lehmad

- anonymous

Would D be the other answer @lehmad

@lehmad pls help me

Taking a guess here (sorry, maybe it'll put some ideas that will help you solve)
D I don't think would be the answer because there are 2 of the same x values.
C I believe is a function because it does not interfere will having more than 1 x value.
Finally A I think would not be a function because it has, as we can see, two of the same x values.

- anonymous

And we have B which we know is a function

- anonymous

So I have B and C has functions.

- anonymous

thank u can i ask u another question? this is the last one :)

- anonymous

Sure
