that didnt help much
is it 1/5
the question is asking which fraction is between 0 and 1/2 1/2 in decimal form is 0.5
1/4, there are an infinite amount of possibilities
there is no 1/4
just ask @UsukiDoll
that was fast... 1/4 is 0.25 so that works...
she knows nothing about nothing!
@theopenstudyowl don't be rude.
u 2, actually help me on my question for once and dont be rude yourself either...
because it wasn't related to Mathematics... you were posting off topic questions.
i got 1/5 and 2/3 7/8 6/10
since the question is asking which fraction is between 0 and 1/2 which is 0 and 0.5 in decimal form . all you have to do is to input those choices in your calculator and compare the decimals.
so input 1/5,2/3,7/8 and 6/10 in your calculator to obtain those decimal forms. and then compare it to the question which is asking between 0 and 1/2 or 0 and 0.5 in decimal form
i dont get it
do you have a calculator right now?
ok do you see the / button or the division button?
alright ... so for one 1/5 press 1 then the divison or / button and then press 5
and after that press the = sign
i got 0.2
:) and is 0.2 between 0 and 0.5 ?
the most obvious numbers between 0 and 1/2 or 0.5 would be: 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, and 0.4
that's the only choice... @minniepotato if you compare the result from 1/5 with the other choices you will see that 0.2 is between 0 to 0.5 where as 2/3, 7/8, and 6/10 is above 0.5
that wasnt the question it was with fraction is between 0 and 1/2
1/5 is 0.2 in decimal form 1/2 is 0.5 in decimal form in decimal form terms it's which fraction is between 0 and 0.5
is it 1/5
yeah so 0.2 is actually 1/5
try inputing the other fractions in the calculator and compare those other 3 with the one we just obtained.
do you understand... or do we need to calculate the other 3 fractions and compare them to the 1/5 -> 0.2?
i got it
