Puerto Rico, Guam, Phillippine Islands, and Cuba. Cuba was given independance in 1904. Guam and PR came alone peaceably and are still part of the US. the Phillippines revolted and we had to fight a war there. Hawaii was not part of the Spanish cessions though, it was an independant kingdom that we took over.
