When you qualify a triangle by the measure of its angles, these are the terms: Acute triangle: a triangle whose angles are all acute (each angle measures less than 90 degrees). Right triangle: a triangle with exactly one right angle (an angle measuring 90 degrees). Obtuse triangle: a triangle with exactly one obtuse angle (an angle measuring more than 90 degrees). Equiangular triangle: a triangle with three congruent angles. All angles have the same measure.

Also, the measures of the angles of a triangle add up to 180 degrees. Add up the measures of the angles of the given triangle and set it equal to 180. Solve the equation for x. Using x, find the measure of each angle. Then use the terms above to determine which type of triangle you have.
