    elimination process to isolate one variable you need to cross out 2nd variable to do that you need opposite sign with same number :=)

    combine like terms meaning add coefficient of same variable examples 2+6 are like terms both numbers are constant(without any variable ) 2x+3x are like terms bec variables are same
