What is the narrative’s thesis statement? I’ll never forget walking into that hospital for the first time. My parents had been telling me that I needed to volunteer at the local children’s hospital. People always say we should stop and smell the roses, but I didn’t really understand exactly what this meant until I was about 13 years old.
