Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1we need to convert these percentages into decimal points and then we multiply that result with the price.

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1let's do the first one as an example 15% off $30 15% in decimal form is 0.15 so 0.15 x 30 = $4.50 off the original price you take that discount and apply to the original price... we do this using subtraction $30 $4.50 = $25.50

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1I left something out by accident.. when you convert a percent into a decimal you need to move the decimal point two places to the left you can also use division as well to obtain the decimal form for example we know that 100% is the max and since the first problem is 15%, we use division 15/ 100 = 0.15

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1then multiply 0.15 with $30 to obtain the discount amount which is $4.50 You take $4.50 off the original price of $30 so the new amount will be $25.50
