Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0for any object in free fall, if it falls from rest, you can write the vertical position \(y\), and the vertical velocity \(v\) as: \[y=y_0\frac{1}{2}gt^2\] \[v=gt\] to find the impact time and velocity you must set \(y=0\) and solve for \(t\), then use that value of \(t\) to find the velocity at the impact.
