The Jenkins family used 12 gallons of gasoline on a 300 mile trip. At that rate how far would they go on 9 gallons of gasoline?

    well, yes, you would first divide miles/gallon to find the unit rate then you would multiply by 9 to find the number of miles for 9 gallons
