general vertex form is y=a(x-h)^2 +k where (h,k) is the vertex

    for example:- y= a(x-h)^2 +k y =2(x+5)^2 +4 h = -5 and k = 4 so vertex is (-5,4) which is not what you want ( you need (5,-4) ) so its not option 2
