    Doesn't make much sense to make one from scratch when the internet is full of them.. online pdf's, youtube videos, tutorial websites are all good @rvc .

    @rvc What is your interest in Java? See, while what woodrow73 said is correct, we might be able to point you at specific information if we know what you were planning to do with Java and where you are skill wise. Want to start learning programming from the basics? Phone programming? Portable (platform independent) programming? Do you already know some other language?
