    @jim_thompson5910 because x+3= -3? no? so the coordinate for x would be -3

    very good, the (x+3)^2 implies that the x coordinate of the center of the circle is -3, when it should be +3 y has a similar issue as well

    this is a common problem since many forget to flip the signs
