    multiples of 4 is 4 8 12 16 20 24 28 32 36 40 44 48 multiples of 9 is 9 18 27 36 45 54 63 72 81 90 99 108 out of all of these numbers what does the multiple of 4 and the multiple of 9 have in common

    yes that's the correct it is 36 because the multiple of 4 and the multiple of 9 has it and also it's the smallest number in those lists

    Alternative Method: LCM of x and y = (x*y)/(GCF of x and y) the GCF of 4 and 9 is 1 since they have nothing else in common in terms of factors so LCM of 4 and 9 = (4*9)/1 = 36
