I'm working on problem set 3 and they reference equations that I'm supposed to prove by number (2A -9*). After poring through the online notes I can't find any reference to numbered equations. Can anyone help with this?

They are referring to the "notes" posted at Apparently, when they worked on 18.01SC (18.01 but with additional material to aid in self-study), they left out this info. The particular section you want is section A, "Approximation"
