PLEASE HELP ME Based on the maps and your knowledge, what is one likely explanation for the change in the population distribution of the U.S. between 1820 and 1860? People moved from overcrowded cities to farms in the Midwest. Many people moved from rural farms to cities in the Northeast. People moved from large cities in the East to settle in the Western Territories. Many people moved from large cities in the North to small towns in the South.
