Will someone help me with something? Four people are running a marathon relay. The entire race is 26.2 mi, and each person will run one-quarter of the distance. How far will each person run?

Well, the question tells your the entire race is 26.2 miles :) And since EACH person will run 1/4 of the distance, you just need to divide the length of the entire race (26.2) by 4 :)
