HELP NOW PLEASE!!!
A company produces accessories for smart phones and tablets. The profit on each smart phone case is $2, and the profit on each tablet case is $3. The company made a profit of $1,200 on the cases last month. The equation 2x + 3y = 1,200 represents the company's profit from cases last month, where x is the number of smart phone cases sold and y is the number of tablet cases sold.
Change the equation into slopeintercept form. Identify the slope and yintercept of the equation. Be sure to show all of your work.

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1slope intercept form is y = mx + b m = slope and b = yintercept you need to start by subtracting 2x from both sides of the equation then divide every term by 3 that will put the equation in slope intercept form.

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1I'd choose 3 points x = 3 x = 0 x = 3 substitute each value to get a corresponding y value you have 3 points plot them and draw a line through them...

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1but if you want to use the slope and intercept... plot the yintercept 400 then from that point fall 2 and run 3 plot the point... then draw a line through the 2 points dw:1435174751712:dw I prefer the 3 point method hope it helps
