You have been helping me SO much, thank you so so so much!

hint:
move point A to point D
move point B to point E
move point C to point F

- mckenzieandjesus

Do i count the blocks ?

- mckenzieandjesus

there is no numbers on the y and x axis's so it was confusing to me

- jim_thompson5910

how would you move A to D using a translation?

- mckenzieandjesus

Oh so the answer is D? A to D is 4 blocks down and B to E is 7 blocks down

- mckenzieandjesus

u turn A and move it down?

- jim_thompson5910

hmm none of these answer choices work
can you take a screenshot of the full problem + answer choices?

- mckenzieandjesus

im on a computer

- mckenzieandjesus

I think its D

- jim_thompson5910

mac or pc?

- mckenzieandjesus

im not sure pc i think

- jim_thompson5910

on your keyboard should be a "prt scrn" key
hit that key, then open up MS paint and go to edit --> paste
edit/crop if needed, save it, then send it

- jim_thompson5910

the "prt scrn" key is normally in the top right portion of the keyboard
around the "insert", "delete", etc

what is point P? the coordinates of it

- mckenzieandjesus

(-2,1)?

- jim_thompson5910

you have it flipped
it should be (1,-2)

- jim_thompson5910

x comes first

- mckenzieandjesus

oh ok

- jim_thompson5910

now multiply each coordinate by 2.5 to get your answer

- mckenzieandjesus

2 1/2 and -5

- mckenzieandjesus

so 2.5 and -5

- jim_thompson5910

yep (2.5, -5)

- mckenzieandjesus

Thank You for helping me learn how to do that! My next question was like that question and I knew exactly how to do it(:

- jim_thompson5910

I'm glad it's making sense

- mckenzieandjesus

(:

- mckenzieandjesus

I think it would be V?

or R?

- jim_thompson5910

This problem is just awful. It makes no mention at all if point C is on line RS (extend out segment RS). The other info seems not that useful either

- jim_thompson5910

it looks like C is on line RS, but I can't be sure
anyways, IF that is true, then aiming at point R will reflect onto point D

- jim_thompson5910

- mckenzieandjesus

So im thinking its point R
