    He wants a representation of 170 and ABOVE, so it should be 170 and all numbers above 170 on the number scale

    I meant to write ABOVE 170, because it doesn't include 170. The same goes for 160, as it should be all numbers below 160. The blank space in the middle of the number line would be the acceptable temperature for serving his burgers at.

    Remember, when the bubble is filled in, it means that it includes that number. When it is left not filled in, that means that it includes every number ABOVE or BELOW it.

    For example: if it is filled in at 20 and pointing to the left, that would mean: 20 and BELOW.
