How will the addition of water affect the acidity of a highly acidic solution having pH 2 @Thatman1... @aloud

    pH of acid increases when a solution is watered down, increases toward 7 (neutral) The pH always goes toward 7 when you dilute an acid OR base. With a base, the pH is above 7, eg 10, so the pH goes *down* toward 7.
