Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1if the 3 consecutive numbers are n , n+1 and n+2 then we have the equation n + n + 1 + n + 2 = 267 solve for n

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1no there is some more manipulation to do n at present is unknown and we need to find its value . n in words can be described as ' some integer' and we can describe the equation in words as 'there is an unknown integer which when added to the next consecutive integer and to the next integer after that gives a total of 267' the next 2 integers are of course n+1 and n + 2

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1when we add 3 n's we write it as 3n ( which is like 3 times n but the multiply is left out and 1 + 2 is of course 3 so the equation becomes 3n + 3 = 267
