E = h*v
h = planks constant
v = frequency
But v = c/wavelength frequency = speed of light into wavelength.
We substitute c/wavelength into v and we get E =hc/lambda or wavelength.
This equation tells us that the energy and wavelength are inversely proportional. Energy is high wavelength will be low, and the opposite is true.
