so we have y=mx+b where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept

    we are given the equation y = 20x+50 so the slope is m =20 and y-intercept b=50

    slope is 20 x - # of months 20(#of months) it's the monthly fee like for example x = 1.. as in 1 month y = 20x+50 y=20(1)+50 y=20+50 = 70 dollars for the initial fee of 50 and 20 for the monthly fee.
