the x intercept is the value of x when y = 0 and y intecept is value of y when x = 0 so to find the x intercept solve for x :- 3x - 2(0) = 18 3x = 18 x = ?

Oh gosh nvm , and x=15

wrong. You are multiplying the 3 to x. So you have to divide to get rid of it: $$\sf\Large \frac{3x}{3}=\frac{18}{3}$$
