    well, for example, lets take : grass - deer - lion when the deer eats the grass, around 10% of the energy in the grass will be transferred to the deer. Same thing happens when the lion eats the deer..i.e. 10% energy is transferred from deer to lion. is it right?

    then, the longer the food chain, the lesser energy is remained at the end of the chain Also, Food web is made up of at least 2 food chains.
