are all animals woven into all of mankind's myths and legends?

    It depends on what culture we are talking about. For example, within American Indian cultures many (if not all) animals are considered sacred and even represent spiritual guides each with their own unique perspectives on life. Whereas with some other cultures animals may be seen merely as subordinate to humans and even food or good for manual labor.

    I agree with @WolfTombe highly! I am Native American and that is very true in what he has said. It truly does depend on which culture. But in almost all cultures there are some animal representation, just not all animal. Not every culture uses every animal in there discovery.
