For the love of god. I'm 22 and can't figure this out. And WAlpha won't even show me because it's so simple. How do you get to the second image (C_1) from the first? http://www4c.wolframalpha.com/Calculate/MSP/MSP16811c5hg44g6dd78c8600000i1aeiiga1a2g569?MSPStoreType=image/gif&s=35&w=265.&h=56. equal to this: http://www4c.wolframalpha.com/Calculate/MSP/MSP9651fe3925h8aai9b2900003haciecfdd71dg10?MSPStoreType=image/gif&s=60&w=216.&h=59. Please, walk through the steps or I may shoot myself.

Naw it's okay. this will take me like 40 seconds to get. I think the problem is this: I know (a/b)/(c/d) = ad/bc, but when you throw a 1 in there, my mind get's blown: (a/b)=(1+(c/d)). I think if i understand how the 1+ changes stuff i"ll get it?

|dw:1435643804600:dw| we just divide by (1+B) now, you had to factor and cancel out in the start and it would have simplified, it's ok we all make these mistakes, you were just overthinking, does it make sense now?

Yeah i need sleep. I wasn't taking out the (1+r) in the first step. So had like a fraction over a fraction. Idk. I need sleep. Now going to get back to maximizing those Leontif Preferences! Thanks!
