Algebraic math If 4( j + k) - 5 = 16 + (j + k), then j + k = ? What i'v got so far is: 4 ( j + k) - 5 = 16 + ( j + k) 4j + 4k - 5 = 16 + ( j + k) am i doing this right?

    get all the j and k on one side and get the constants on the other side. So you have to add 5 to both sides and subtract j and k from both sides
