Briefly describe the conditions in the Axis countries at the end of World War II and explain how they rebounded by the mid-1950s.

    Long story made short, they were in ruins.

    In WWII the Allies were the U.S, Great Britain and the Soviet Union. The Axis countries were Germany, Japan, and Italy. The end of the war ended turmoil between the countries.

    And how they rebounded? Well, unlike the last conflict, the Allied Powers decided to be merciful, and they assisted the former Axis countries in rebuilding their economy and buildings. They gave them cause to become friends as opposed to enemies.
