An office has 6 employees; there are 5 female employees and 1 male employee. In how many ways can a 3 person committee be created if the committee must include the male employee?

    you can write all the different combinations of 2 from 5 if you like - the man is always there so if the females are a,b,c,d and e then combinations are ab ac ad ae bc bd be cd ce de which are 10
