@paki Examine the words from the different languages within the Roman Empire. Which of these statements can be made based on the chart? They all come from Latin so they have similar spellings, but they are different because they developed in different regions. They are similar to each other because their speakers traded with the Roman Empire and had to communicate. They are all very similar, except for Romanian which is too far away to be considered a Romance language. They are romantic languages that come from the central French region, so they look and sound alike.
