Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0actually i dont know what the correct answer is. I choose randoom. Now my teacher asked me to explain why it is wrong, I have no clue. I explain for her that " antibiotic resistance" correct because plasmid carry extra genes not required for bacteria metabolism. These include antibiotic resistance. " viral resistance" wrong because bacteria have genes that specifically break down viral DNA. Then, she gave me a comment back she wrote " make what?" I m understand. Can you help me?

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1Plasmids have extra vital information which may be useful for bacteria's survival. For ex. Antibiotic resistance. They often pass these DNA to other bacterium via bacterial conjugation and hence develop an antibiotic resistant colony of bacteria.

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1Viruses incorporate their RNA into host bacterial cells machinery and sort of hijack them. Plasmids do not have genes for viral resistance.
