How many sentence fragments exist in this paragraph? Jason rifled through his backpack. Looking for the article. Getting it to the Daily Learner News office before the noon deadline. That was essential. He had worked on it for weeks. Now it was time to turn it in. To be sure he had not left it in his bedroom. Jason double-checked. Seeing his approaching bus through the window. He began to panic. Quickly retracing his steps in his mind. Jason remembered that he had left it on the printer. He ran through the house with the article in hand. Catching the bus in the nick of time.

There are 6 fragments in the paragraph. Fragments are missing the conventional grammar elements of standard English.

what about this @Robert136 Margaret wrote a note and put it an envelope. She wrote Molly’s name on the envelope and placed it on the hall table. Next to her picture. Then, she wiped a tear and opened the front door. She would not see her sister for several weeks. Margaret knew going away to college would be difficult. Especially when she thought about missing her family. Closing the door behind her. She took a deep breath. Her father was waiting in the car. She tried to think about future visits with her family. She smiled. How exciting that will be. When she gets to see her little sister again. I think its 4 A.4 B.5 C.6
