Confusing wording of a question..

    John is a member of a baseball card collector's club. The number of cards that John has is 60% of the total number of cards that everyone else in the club has. What fraction of the total number of cards of everyone in the club belongs to john?

    from the question doesn't it directly give away that 60% is how much john has from total?
