    Gasses can also be compressed but solids, depending on what it is also has a high chance of being able to be compressed as well

    Solids can't be compressed since their particles are already tightly packed.

    Inter particular distance between gases are too high and thus they are easily compressible.

    Lets say like a ball or even a metal @Abhisar things are compressed each and every day whether it is with a hot substance to do the job or just our bare hands but the particles can't stop the outside compression is what I am saying
