Two students in your class, OBBY and Blake, are disputing a function. Tucker says that for the function, between x = –4 and x = 2, the average rate of change is 0.

    the average rate of change is positive as the function increases to the turning point then it decreases aso the average rate is negative as it descends to x = 3. The sum of these 2 average rates can be zero.
