A student is building a diamond-shaped kite in his science class. To construct the kite, the student has assembled four congruent right triangle pieces of fabric to form the diamond. The diagonals of the kite are perpendicular to one another. If angle ABC on the side of the kite is 116 degrees what will angle BCD on the tail end of the kite be?     as the 4 triangles in the kite are congruent the top and bottom angles are equal therefore angle at the tail end is [360 - 2(116)] / 2

    you'll need to find the values of x then plug this into the 3 angles to get their value. This will tell you the type of triangle. as th 3 angles in triangle add up to 180 we can write: 7x + 6x + 10 + 15x + 2 = 180 solve this for x

    can you solve this for x? when you have found x plug its value into the 3 angles 7x , 6x + 10 and 15x + 2 to find their value.
