1. What does it mean when scientists say that living organisms share a universal genetic code?

    Lol this means that they are saying that all of the same species came from the same DNA strand that as first created. So whether you know it or not we are related to animal like lions as close as we are related to the lettuce that we eat in our salad. We are all connected and have the same DNA and DNA is our genetic code :)
