Those users don't realize that a. gaming the system to create medal parties is against Code of Conduct and b. creating a second account after the first one is suspended or ip banned is also against the code of conduct. I bet that some users are using VPNs which actually gives them another ip address and it will enable them to create another account on here. What they don't realize is that using VPNs is frowned upon and all accounts will be closed.
ok I don't know why I mentioned code of conduct again for my second reasoning, but it is against the terms and conditions.
Just report it. If not pm a mod. Any other questions? There shouldn't be because its so simple.

Oh okay. I saw this girl that medal spammed this guy to get him to 90 and then her SS went up and I just think that's highly unfair.
Please medal spam me to make me 100. Thanks.
Is it even possible to reach 100? There's only 1 person who has 100 and that's @satellite73
Then it is possible. Why even ask?
Wait, nevermind my request above. Please medal spam me until I become fully purple. Currently, I only have a bit of purple.
@iYuko not really because he already has 100 and unless he went down to 99, no one can get there. Just like the girl that has 100 in Engagement. Since she has it 100, satellite can't get 100 in that.
And jokes beside, if they keep making accounts, simply message a moderator. A moderator can suspend their main for a longer time that will result in an ip ban. And the moderator can do the same to those alts... but what if they are already using those alts to medal spam? o_0
It's possible to get a 100 SS.
Not unless his SS does down to 99. No.
?
*goes
Alot of people have a 99 SS
Your saying only 1 person can have 100 SS?
Exactly. Look how many people with 99 SS have been here for as long as satellite has, yet none of them have gotten to 100. Why? Because of that same exact reason. They can't unless his SS goes down.
This is just a theory.
No it's not. It's a fact.
^
So if I can manage to have enough time on my hands and medals, I could have a 100SS
Yes....Not as many people bust their brains for medals
Sooo your theory that 1 person can have a 100SS is false
you said...Not unless his SS does down to 99. No.
I'm done
bye
No. Spam yourself all you want. That won't get you to 100 SS, when more than 20 people are over you with 99 SS. And I'm pretty sure that if satellite didn't have 100 SS anymore, one of the closest people that would have 100 SS would have it.
I am a bit confused. So technically, once someone out there gets a 100 SS, then no one else can occupy that spot. Like for example, @satellite73 (sorry buddy I know I am tagging you a lot) is 100 in at least 2 categories, he is the only primary spot for 100 and everyone else is 99 regardless until he loses 100 status in either Teamwork or Problem Solving. So, who has 100 in Engagement?
@inowalst I could care less about my smart score. But if more than 20 people can have a 100SS then why can't more than 20 people have a 100SS?
But if more than 20 people can have a 99SS*
maybe it's in OpenStudy's code? As in the way it's written/programmed .. like reserve 100 for 1 user and everyone else is a 99 SS ?
Well if you want... You can go find it in the code.
Good luck
who cares? who seriously uses smart score as a metric for merit? A few of the kids here with smart scores over 75 don't even help other people out - they just stand out as addicts with no ability to think for themselves. The people who care about smart score are the people who medal spam for it. So let them be. Maybe when the score is recognized for something out of the site it'll matter, but for all I care, you should stop judging people based on smart score and start doing it on perceived content of character. And if you think those who cheat meddarz lack content of character, does it make you more mature to want to have a higher smartscore than them when the number is meaningless? Think about it, smart score goes up to 100 and is formulaic. Sounds a bit like grades. Oh wait, it is a grade, except it's participation based, which is a real joke.
They just can't. @iYuko I'm guessing that's how the system was made. But @UsukiDoll Yes. And the person with 100 Engagement is @hhelpplzzzz . @inkyvoyd No one is judging anyone by anything. It's just not fair to those that have actually worked hard and done something.. and to those that have been here a long time, trying to get their SS up and it doesn't, but they don't spam for it, even though it's not going up. Say whatever you want because probably your grades are the ones that are low.. apart from you.
So a pure 100 SS on all categories would be Teamwork - Captain Problem Solving - Guru Engagement - Scholar
If that's what it is, then yes.. I don't really know them, but yes.
\(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @iYuko So if I can manage to have enough time on my hands and medals, I could have a 100SS \(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{End of Quote}}\) If you want to give yourself like 50,000 false medals from alts to get 100 and bring Satellite down to 99SS, be my guest.
Yes. @TheSmartOne Thank you.
Lol that confusion in this conversation though... Anyways, you pass Satty and get at least 2 SubScores to 100. Bam! You become the user with 100ss, and Satty goes down to 99ss. Jimthompson is the closest to Satellite.

SS itself is not a meaningful gauge. it's algorithmically done, just like with grades, so I do not think that it really means anything at all - worse so, it's based on the number of posts you have and even the number of chat messages. 3. Nice ad hominem. The most ironic part of your insult is that I graduated as Valedictorian from my albeit small class of 192. In any case, as much as "medal abuse" might frustrate you, I think it is irrelevant from the bigger problem that the OS community is full of cheaters and those that help others cheat - which makes everyone a cheater more or less, myself included.
