Topic: Continuity What value of k will make the following function continuous at x=9? Here's the function: http://img.ctrlv.in/img/15/07/08/559c74a5db65d.png Can someone guide me on how to do it?

    solve \(k(9)-4=6(9)+k\), then you are forcing the two equations to equal each other when \(x=9\). Since the two functions are each continuous, you will be done.

    That's what I did, but the correct answer is 29/4 Here is my solution. 9k-4 = 54 + k 9k-k=54-4 8k=50 k=6.25

    add 4 to both sides not subtract
