Which of the following best describes the role that the popularity of newspapers played in the success of The Federalist Papers? As newspapers became more popular, they were distributed in Europe. This helped the Federalists gain foreign support for their cause. As their support grew, some European countries sent the Federalists money to help them get the Constitution passed. Newspapers had become more popular and were printed daily. Because of this, several of the Federalists' essays were printed each week. Anti-Federalists had little time to come up with good arguments against the essays
